I have a chance to get a second Camp Tramp wich is about perfect to me!! But what it costs I could almost get a nice piece of INFI. so should I hold off and see what SYKCO, and SRKW and BUSSE COMBAT bring or get the Boss Jack now? I Like 6 to 7 inch blades. decisions decisions:p:p

I don't think the BJLE will ever be cheaper. I like mine alot. It is a very good compromise thickness. I can't stand the .33 inch thick blades, way too one dimensional for me. This one actually cuts and is thick enough with a fairly stout tip to take some good abuse. Love my Camp Tramps too. The BJLE carries smaller though, that is important to me.

Buy it. You'll regret it if you don't.

What he said!!! Trust me, you don't get it now IT WILL COST YOU MORE later. That is a given. I like SR-101 but man come on your talking INFI here. In a short, if you don't get it, that will be a decision that will bit you in the azz!!!

any one have a pic of the BJ next to a ESEE-6? thats the knife I am trying to replace with INFI. is the skinny ash a better option?

There's always going to be another knife. Personally I haven't found a knife I love as much as I do my stripped/satined CGBJ. My SAR6 would probably be that "one knife" everyone always talks about, but the BJ is so perfect in every other way. Size, weight, thickness (CG), speed, ergos... I wouldn't pass on such a perfect knife just to see what else is out there. You'll be missing out.

Absolutely right! Mine is becoming my favorite knife.

I passed, however, on the SAR6, and I regret it.

Damn! I REALLY love my SAR6, but when the extra heft/weight isn't needed I don't think you can get much better than a BJ for all around use with the obvious exception of chopping.

Get it now. If you are just waiting for what is out there, buy it. Then, of something comes along you would rather have, sell it.

The Boss Jacks are instant classics. I did not order one, because I have a Sar1, and Cabs, and now the Muck.

I can only buy so many!

Boss Jack no choil is on my list of "wants"

I actually passed on the SAR6 becaused I loved my esee6 so much.

I eventually replaced my esee6 with a RatManDeux LE and the Boss Jack - just traded my 6 away last week...

Dude, the BJ is a classic! Imo you have to have one.

I agree - everybody always raved about the Satin Jack being perfection, but they were EXPENSIVE. Here is your chance to own a modern take for cheap, relatively speaking... The Jacks are classic Busse like FSHs and FBMs.

I know how OP feels, I have enough money set aside for 1 knife and 1 only... With blade coming up and the potential for a ganza, there seem to be more people freeing up space in their collections and trying to get a little extra cash, meaning deals, and the closer the events get the more this will be happening, meaning too many choices and not enough funds... Plus with the muks being delivered, people are realizing that maybe 3 or 4 is 1 too many and they are real pretty and all seem to being for cost (pretty damn close anyway) so I feel your pain and sympathize! My head might explode from the tension!

. ok I ordered a black blade and tan canvas this morning.!!!! tough desicion on choil or no choil though, I went with only cause my Esee-6 has it and I like it on that and the BJ is to replace it.
