BOSS Jack pic request...

Wanting to get a BOSS Jack; I really want an LE, I like the saber grind A LOT, but the CG is more in my price range. Plus I like the additional thickness of the CG. Does anyone have a pic of a stripped or bead blasted CG? It's tough to get a good feel for the geometry of the grind with the coating from the pics I have found. I did try a search but was only found prototypes which have a different grind. Thanks in advance for any help!

ive owned both and i think the le is better.still plenty strong but it has much better edge geometry.the cg edge is too thick and would be difficult to sharpen over time.plus the le just looks awesome!!

I LOVE the look of the satin Protos without fullers. That's a beautiful blade you've got there my friend.

I may get an LE, but I can't decide what color handle to get. Man I wish they had Tigerhide as an option; that would make the decision much easier.

How is the handle with big palms, do you think it feel smal, like the sykco 511 handle?
Any comparison picture with the BJ and 511 on the side and above?

I can't really say if it will work for you because I have smaller hands. The BJ's handle is a little longer than the 5-11's. Both seem to fill the hand about the same. They both work just fine for me, but some say the BJ handle is too thin. I have a .22" ASH with Mags, which fills my hand much more. I like both just as much as the other. The BJ handle feels right for the blade it's on, if that makes sense.

I think you'd like the Skinny ASH (the one shown is .23" and tapers down to .20" right after the ricasso) w/ Mags.

Great comparison pics! I was a little surprised, I never actually compared the specs on the two so I never thought about it. The ASH is kinda, um..beefier, so without comparing pics or specs directly (or even thinking about them side by side), it was the bigger of the two in my head. (I want to get an ASH anyway so I never considered only getting one; eventually I want them all, 1 of each would suffice
