Just finished up a Boss Jack! I've always felt that the scales on the BJ were too thin and small for how beefy of a knife it is. I added some much thicker scales made from Claro Walnut burl, canvas micarta and orange G10. This was a really challenging handle to do because of the rounded butt and talon. I had to extend the scales without making the transition from square spine to smooth spine awkward or uncomfortable.

That does look really good Kal! I'm not a big fan of rehandlin', but you pretty much nailed that one!
 
WOW! that looks awesome! I also felt that the Boss Jack handles were a bit too thin. If I had your talent and could make scales like that, I would definitely use my LE.
