Hey guys,
I'm new to Infi and just ordered a Boss Jack from Garth. I got a no choil, blue/black G-10 with Tanker Grey blade. Does anyone have any pictures of this combo? And I would definately appreciate some pictures of the boss jack in use so please let the pictures come in :D. What do you guys use your Boss Jack for?



Boss Jack arrived a little while ago :D. Loving the blu/black G-10, great knife feeling and pretty sharp too.

Boss Jack with my Rodent Solution. The rodent solution was my first introduction to Bussekin knives. I also have a Scrapyard 711 on order :D

Loving my new Boss Jack. Ordered a sheath from David Brown, that should be here some time next week hopefully ;). I will be going camping in early March so it will be getting some good use soon. It will see some kitchen duty after I put my own edge on it. And i'm hoping my 711 comes next week :D looks like an addiction coming on. Better work some over time :D

just going thru some pics, felt like posting this one.....but a crappy pic, just to get u going...
i use her for pretty much all my camping trips, as this one is perfect size/weight for me to carry around.........either one, but Boss Jack is a real nice feel in your hand. The 'jack' also got me into this not too long ago. i fell in love with the Satin jack, (the one on the right) and eventually got one, and the new edition of the knife that the Boss brought back, the Boss Jack (on the left, but mine has the choil), is just as great IMO! Enjoy it...I know I do!

My BOSS Jack is my trusty camping knife if I don't want to bring anything larger (including a large + small combo).
The BJ is definitely my favorite Busse knife as far as looks go. It seems to stand against all that Busse is about for its larger blades. It's slender, i.e., it's really narrow for its length compared to other Busse knives of around the same length, and I think it's really sexy.

I agree- the BJ is my go-to knife....I may even let go of my nmsfno sometime in the future. .Maybe when the SHLBBM comes out.
 
Tanker Gray with Black and Blue G-10? You can't go wrong with that combo!

Yup-your intuition was right Gary. Bruiser is just a.k.a blue/black G10. I also have the same CG cabs in your pic. Love it too.

Thanks :thumbup: wonder if any other G10 scales have nicknames... swamp for green-black? goth for red-black? zebra for tan-black?... black for black?
 
I have to ask: how long ago did you order your Boss Jack?

This is the second thread about Boss Jacks ordered after they came down from the Busse site. I wasn't aware that one could still order a knife after Jerry pulled them from the site. I have to say: this is getting my hopes up of still being able to order one. Should I just send the gals at Busse Service an E-mail?

Very appealing blade-handle colour combo by the way!!:thumbup::thumbup:

The sooner the better :thumbup: I don't know about the circumstances of this and the other thread's BOSS Jacks, but even if the combat grade models and pricing aren't available anymore, there still seems to be blanks in stock so you can still get your Jack.

I never thought I would have two Busse's of the same model, but I realy like the BossJack! and these two are different enough from each other for me to justify it ;)
The CG will be my user camp knife, just have not had her out yet.

That is a great combo. The BJ is an awesome all around knife. Nice blade to start with.
 
THank you for the pictures everyone. I ordered it 2 days ago haha so I don't think I will have it for about 6 weeks or so but definitely looking forward to it. It does seem to be the perfect size for an all purpose camp knife.
