After posting in Eric's thread a few days ago about the possibility of the large-choil BOSS Jack not fitting his sheath molded from a no-choil version, Eric reached out and asked me if I would be his Guinea HOG by seeing if my versions would both fit. I agreed and he shot me out a sheath which arrived today... Well, I was wrong! His sheath for the BOSS Jack looks to be a true winner in the "One Size Fits All" category, and it fits 'em both very well! I have both the Large-Choil & No-Choil versions and they both snap in just the same and feel the same to me in regards to retention (the small-choil version is identical to the no-choil version in regards to blade length & ricasso size and should fit just as well as the others)...and after repeated sheathing & drawing using both BOSS Jack versions, I see no kydex rubs on either one as of yet...sweet! :) If you're looking to only have one great fitting kydex sheath for your different BOSS Jack versions, then I recommend The Mashed Cat BSSJ sheath... It's the cat's pajamas!! :D

Hey, Eric! Consider this one SOLD!!! Thanks, brother! :D:thumbup:

Large choil. I had to get a pair of no-choil versions, but more for the novelty of owning a Busse without a choil than planned use...although I might decide to use one now that I have a sheath that fits both.
Didn't even consider one with a small choil...what's the point?

Looking good Jaxx:thumbup: I missed this thread as I was curious about the large choil vs no choil and I'm with you 100% on the small choil.
Thanks for posting

I find the small choil helpful during sharpening vs the no choil for those that don't want the large choil.
