These are actual production samples, meaning the tooling is complete, the box is done and the pivot tool.

The bottom knife is designed by BFC resident David Winch of Ferret knives. He entered our contest earlier this year and the Mini-Raptor (called Firebrand by David) is the result.

The knife you have seen on my web site was created by me in Photoshop and is not real. As you can see my factory is very good in getting the actual production very close to the original design. Keep in mind we did not have a actual knife from David to use, just my Photoshop image!

The Toucan is really cool and is my favorite for ripping open stuff.

Anyway just a heads up and these begin shipping in 4 weeks with the Cheetah close on the tail. For more info on the Cheetah see the Balisong forum.

I hope you enjoy our new products, and especially the price point. The official launch for the BOSS line is the Shot Show but you guys will always here the news here first.
 
oooo... Very nice Mike, when do you think we'll be seeing some of those Kerambit models (Non-photoshop of course)? :D

i can't wait for the kerambit to be out....please tell us more about the kerambit - the steel and the integrity of the liner lock since one of its uses would be SD I assume....

cliff, could you pls do a review on the kerambit....that's gonna be my next purchase....

OK The Kerambit by BFC member Liong Mah is on schedule for January as well as the entire DOD series by BFC member Monty Feilding.

Keep in mind many of the designs entered into the contest here WILL be seen in the future. It just takes some time.

Now I will announce it here on this thread. We are doing a collaboration with Darrel Ralph. It is a fixed blade called the G-Force. I should have a prototype in about 30 days. It will be a fixed blade version of his Krait/Impulse design with one really cool sheath which was designed by David Bloch of Outdoor Edge. Now how is that for a cool collaboration?

If you would like to see more pics and even sneak pics at what images go back and forth between me and the factory you can link to the directory below. This is the directory I put dealer images and protos. I will also place other files in there that will not make much since but some of you will piece it together.

I am going camping this weekend so I will not be back until Sunday night and I will answer more questions then.

Grr... Gone' campin and I gots questions! Heh oh well, hopefully you check this thread when you get back, anyway my question is, whats that thing below the toucan and the mini-raptor? And below the toucan in the box?
Looks kinda like a bottle cap (shaddup thats the best thing I can think of that it looks similar to). :rolleyes:

Nice designs. Hey Mike, what materials will be used for these knives? Just wondering what the price point is gonna be.

I'm not Mike but, the front page of Mike's website (http://www.wowinc.com) tells you the specs of all the knives. Also the prices on these knives (BOSS Knives) is anywhere between $20 and $30 dollars (except for the BOSS Parasite, thats like $50 I think). 888knivesrus.com has all of the BOSS knives for $20 except for the BOSS Parasite fixed blade.
 
Can't wait Mike! Everything looks great, I really want to get my hands on that Mini Raptor and of course the Kerambit!

Hey Mike, since OE has prety much left the tactical market and mostly does hunting/outdoor stuff, why don't you see if you can talk David Bloch into making the Pocket Lite's in your factory. I always thought the spearpoint shape on those was cool, and I love lockbacks.
