What do y'all think? I'm bitten by the bug and cannot afford the Battle Mistress (trying to stay <$250) - is the Boss Street to "tame" looking (i.e. doesn't kill you by looks alone) as my first Busse?
Or should I be waiting or looking for another model?

Also, does anyone know if they ship to Canada? How much would it cost?

The Boss Street would be a great choice...and very reasonably priced. Yes...Busse will ship to Canada...but don't know the cost. They will treat you right:thumbup:

Go for it! The Boss Street is a good size for EDC. You would be able to get alot more daily use out of it as opposed to a larger knife and get to experience the qualities of INFI more frequently than with a larger chopper. More blades will come quicker than you or your bank account will be ready for!:D

Hell yeah!

My first Busse was an original Mean Street and this one is just a bit larger. I don't think you could ask for a better introduction that the Boss Street:D

Do it. Do it NOW!!
Take your time. Meaners are nice. So is the Cultie and Warden.:thumbup:

No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just kidding the boss street is the bee's knees. But, I think the BWM will be a better first Busse. I think most of us started with a Battle Mistress first. But the Boss is an awesome knife:thumbup:

The Boss Street is a great knife. If your buying just to own a Busse go for it.

However if you intend to use it, you might want to decide what type of tasks you will use the knife for. Then pick a model that would best suit those tasks.

If it will be a user, post in this thread what you intend to use the knife for. There are a lot of people here who know a ton about Busses and what knife shines at what task. They will be more than willing to give recommendations.

Best of luck,

Les.

Can't go wrong with infi....but if you can make it work, I highly suggest a BWBM. The price is in the mid 300's, but there is a lot more infi for the money. Plus I am guessing more Boss Street versions will be released in the near future.

BWBM is just too big for me. Uses are backpacking, hunting, bushcraft and general camping. I prefer 4-6 inch knives. But the only thing on their website currently in my dimension range is the Boss Street. My current carry is a RC-4, which replaced an old full sized Kabar. The -4 is a great knife for the money and use, but I'd like something a little more stainless. I've also got the big 4-0 coming up and figured I'd treat myself.

I was originally comparing the knives to some of the CRKs, specifically the Roberts or Pacific, but I'm tending in this direction, as the Busse seem like more of a custom knife for my money. I'm just afraid, like someone said, that I won't be able to stop at one....

Reading this, I'd say the BOSS Street should do just fine:thumbup: Honestly I think Infi really, really shines in bigger blades, but it's no slouch in smaller knives!

regarding your question "do they ship to Canada?", yes. I have ordered from Busse several times in the past. I agree with others that this would be a good "first" Busse.

When did Canadians start saying "y'all"! I'm flabbergasted!!! :p

If you want something in the 6" range, check out the Tankbuster. You may want to check the exchange for one. I just noticed one on there that is a real nice deal from a guy I've bought from in the past. Good guy.

I have ordered from Busse into Canada. It is fairly expensive (30 bucks) but they use tracking etc.

I think you would like the BOSS but you may enjoy a bigger blade more. I think the BOSS will perform very similarly to your rat.

I think it would be a cool EDC.

You'd get a bunch of use out of it and... you're caryring a Busse.

How sweet is that?!?

NO, run away right now and don't look back! Or else you will end up like us, as broke and broken men, forever looking for our next hit of INFI dust.

Busse Combat uses United States Postal Service.
So... Cost of knife + Shipping + exchange rate
+ 5% GSTax+ 8% PSTax + $ 5:00 handling charge = Total cost in Canadian $
USPS is the best way to ship to Canada
