A while back, my lovely wife bought me my first Busse knife, a custom shop Boss Street!

Very cool, but the purple giraffe bone would not have been my fist choice. :o Of course I wouldn't tell her that, and since it is a gift I will not sell or trade it.... But I did decide to mod it just a bit to be more to my liking.

This is the knife before:

And this is after I took a file and a dremel to it. (I know, SACRILEGE to mess up a nice custom shop :eek:) I just added some jimping, and some reshaping to the scales:

....It is WAY more comfy in my hand now. I really like the feel of it, and I think it looks better in person. Now I just need to get out and use it! :D

Just wanted to share.... thanks for looking!

Once again you took a great knife and made it better. Might we have a budding bladesmith on our hands? :)

:eek::eek::eek:

Wow, takes some big-uns to file on the giraffe bone like that!! Nice work, it came out great!!

Thanks guys!

haha.... I've been buying up some basic knife making tools, if I ever have time to use them I'll be happy to post some more pics! I'd like to actually make my own knife here before long, if time allows. :)

Nicely done mate. Bold move to work on that knife but in my opinion you've done it just right.

that Boss Street sure is wicked.. but your handle mod makes it look so much better!!
super unique:thumbup:
