Boss street prototype questions

I have the chance to buy one of these but wondered what the prototype bit meant....

Sometimes Busse will release a limited quantity of prototypes of a blade design before it goes into production, a recent example being the Boss Jack.

Generally the blade's design will change before going into production.

I haven't been around here for too long, but from what I've seen, the prototypes are released at shows, such as Blade or Knob Creek. I could be wrong about that, however.

Mine is satin w/ black paper .21" thick vs .22

It wasnt. All the proto BS were either bbdc/black canvas quilted or satin/black paper quilted in the .22" ish range originally. THere have been a couple that were modified to add liners in house and possibly some others by individuals. They were originally released at the first Easton, PA show...dont remember the year
