Jerry. We know it's gonna happen sometime in the future. When are you gonna come out with some more variations on the BOSS Street? I'm looking for a Satin version to add to my collection.

Thin and satin, that would do it for me. I don't really have much use for the thick coated one.

I think the reason most Busse's are on the thick side is they are known for battle knives. And thin knives would be more prone to breakage. You know someone trying to use their thin bladed Busse if made, for a prybar thus breakage.

A thin satin one is easy to get.
1.) Order from the custom shop
2.) Order the CG and send it to Ban or Horn Dog with some $$ and have them burn it down to the thickness you want, convex the edge, and voila -- a thin satin version.

I think they are going to come out with different flavors like the SAR4s but not sure it will be an option like normal production knives....

This argument comes up every time someone asks for a thin version, and it just doesn't hold water. If breakage were a worry, Jerry wouldn't have made the ABA, leaner meaner, bushwacker, cultie, etc etc etc.

Busse does make thin knives when it suits their fancy - the question is simply whether we will get a thin version of THIS knife.

I hope we do.

I second what my skinny INFI loving brother said.

I'm pretty much convinced that it is physically impossible to start a thread asking about the BOSS Street without someone asking for a thinner version :D

I generally like thinner also. In this particular case, I'm happy its at .22. It will be a nice companion to the thin Bushwacker :)

How 'bout a Muddy with Tan Canvas? Or even an OD/Green Linen Lep version for this St. Patrick's Day!

I'm going to try to hang around.:)

Your federal government has too much for this old man to do. And ... I'm experiencing a bit of burnout ... a loss of sang froid ... a bit of disillusion.

Yes, even at my advanced age I can experience disillusionment. Guess I've been a bit naive.:o

I've promised to soldier on. For now. With time, we will see.

I'll chime in with hopes for a satin/pumpkin version hovering around the .180-.200 mark.
