I think the reason most Busse's are on the thick side is they are known for battle knives. And thin knives would be more prone to breakage. You know someone trying to use their thin bladed Busse if made, for a prybar thus breakage.
This argument comes up every time someone asks for a thin version, and it just doesn't hold water. If breakage were a worry, Jerry wouldn't have made the ABA, leaner meaner, bushwacker, cultie, etc etc etc.
Busse does make thin knives when it suits their fancy - the question is simply whether we will get a thin version of THIS knife.
