So the Boss Street's were released at Blade West, but they are under the cone of silence - can anyone at least tell us how long they must be kept under wraps? Is it another six month thing, like the killa z, or longer??

Yeah I have the same question - I see a lot of different proto's offered up on the exchange, and they have never been produced. What's different about this one? Was there an indication that the boss street would be offered up as a regular release sometime soon? I'm sure a lot of non-hogs would like a chance at them, and a lot of hogs would like to be able to post pictures of their collections without censoring the boss street. It's bad enough having to photoshop blur the killa zilla and regulator every time you post a collection pic.
 
Garth told me at Blade West that the Boss was definitely going to be offered but had no answer to the when question.
 
If it's a major pain to redact it from your photos just send it to me. Problem solved!

There is no promise date. I'm thinking this and the Zilla are different from the other protos in that there's a chance these will actually be produced, whereas other protos you have seen are either knives that were eventually released, or which are not currently in consideration.

I haven't even gotten it yet :p

Kinda scary that I've drunk the kool-aid so much that I had a proxy snag me one based on nothing but the name, having no idea on any of the specs or appearance. I must be a little bit nuts.:eek:

I don't think collection pics are a problem, as pics of both knives have been shown. Reviews and pics of the knife in use are embargoed.
 
Guy, there was a full-on pic of the BOSS MS? I only saw the teasers... before I got mine sight unseen via an awesome proxy. :D

I was so darn happy with mine, I bought 5!!! :eek: But being the "Giving" guy I am, I let three go to deserving HOGS, so I'm only twice as happy now! :D

I stand by my mailbox every day, waiting to be just as happy as Randucci.:D

So far, no luck. But ... I've learned patience. My day will come.:)
 
My day came today and I must say that I am also very happy that I took the plunge site unseen.

Sorry to be unclear...I was referring to pics of the KZ and TR. There is no pic of the BOSS Street AFAIK.



I'm happy, thanks to my Proxy. :thumbup:

I think you might be right. It should be here in a few days and I expect to be very happy.


BUT... I would NEVER try to convince anyone to do that dance, not even my worst enemy.
