A word of warning...

Don't get Bostick glue on your coating!!!

I accidentally dripped a tiny blob of bostick onto the edge of my tan BATAC. It was there for maybe two minutes.

When I noticed it and rubbed it gently off, it took the coating with it! About 3/16" by 1/8". Well mad

Must be the solvent in it. If it wouldn't get me an infraction, I'd swear!

I would strip it, but I got it to match my FBM.

D'oh!!!

I need a drink.

Sorry to hear it. Your choices:

1. Send it back it for a recoat. It'll cost you though.

2. Beat the absolute snot out of it, to the point that you just don't care.

3. Strip 'em both!

3. Strip 'em both!

1. Would likely cost the same as buying another BATAC, once I've paid shipping, insurance etc.

2. Well, it's going to be a user anyway, once the rain stops. The glue was around because I was finishing off a cordura sheath for it.

3. One day ;)

So, it looks like option 2 is a winner  Thanks!
