The Imperial is shorter by 3/8" it has a rounded plunge line on the blade, the Boc almost 90o plunge line with a star-shaped pin on pummel, imperial has the regular rectangular pin.
The Boc swedge is located 3" from the guard and the imperial 3 3/8" from the guard.
It makes me think that the difference in length is not reshaping the tip but a change in manufacturing
Is one older what other info you all may have would greatly be appreciated
