I got a PowerLock about 1 year ago through a closeout + gift-certificate. I wanted one with the V-Cutter, but they only had the scissors model. I went ahead and got it and recently noticed you could order the V-Cutter separate.
I went ahead and ordered it and am now swapping out the scissors. Well I hadn't anticipated it not being a straight swap. Fthe V-Cutter is significantly narrower than the scissors, so you'd need some spacers (which I can do). However, in googling around I saw a picture of someone who managed to keep the scissors as well as adding the V-Cutter.
Has anyone else done this? I can't get it situated quite right for it to all work to keep both of them in there (the V-Cutter and the blade are beside each other).
If this isn't suggested, is there something special other than adding in some washers to keep the spacing right?
