Like everyone else, been wanting the 10. ordered it, should get here next week. while I was there I hit 'Add To Cart' on another 2. I have a couple modding ideas I've been banging around in my head, and figured what the heck, i'm here, i'm already paying for shipping, do it. so I did.

then skystorm had to go and put a Reinhardt Kukri up for sale. Damn him. I've been wanting one since forever. So I had to pull the trigger on that, too. I HAD to.

As the fog of Becker purchasing slowly clears, i'm realizing that that just might be enough to tip Mrs. gentemanndvm over the edge from annoyed into flat-out murderous. I'm hoping she smothers me in my sleep with a pillow. Seems the most peaceful way to go of the available options.

If I make it through the weekend, next week is going to be a good week to check the mail every day.

Do you have a will? haha. My wife doesn't mind when I order knives and gadgets, we bust in each other (good natured) and I remind her about her shoes and clothes. I am also very generous with jewelry to her, so I tell her that knives and guns are "man-bling".
 
I may be joining you. Maybe we can compare knife stories on the other side. I have bought 3, $100+ knives in the last week and a half. They were just too good of a deal to pass up! Hope I get the mail the day the credit card bill comes in. :eek:

If you have problems with the missus, I`ll graceously offer my adress for you to use, I can take care of all your deliverys, and your wife will never see any of the blades you order....

I kind of see this as a win/win situation, or,,,,,,?
 
It was worth it, I'm sure. I ended up ith a bk4, bk10, and Vuck Vantage Pro this week. I think I am starting to see the wrath of wife die down. :D
 
I ain't got no wife so I buy all the guns/knives/trucks I can afford. A small consolation but it is what it is.
 
If you live long enough to open the box on monday, just walk around the house holding the Reinhardt with a wild ass look on your face. That's what I do, guaranteed alone time.
 
Now that I have my BK10 the RBK and BK6 are on a very very short list of knives I desperately want. But the BK6 isn't coming back in the foreseeable future. :(

depending how the bank acct is looking, check out Skystorm's sales thread that i just grabbed that RBK from. He's got a patrol machete / BK6 up for sale in it.

ETA: pueblo? i lived in colorado springs for a couple yrs. conquistador ski resort is the site of my best ski wreck to date. you know, i'm 41, i'm never having another wreck like that one, so it's officially the site of my best ski wreck period. ambulances, emergency rooms, all that stuff. it was a good one. at little ole' conquistador. it still open? haven't been to colorado in years....
 
Yall sound like me this last week. I purchased a few other Custom made knives that I love and then Bsmith_shoot intruduces me to this whole BHK thing (granted I had one NK2 but really never paid much attention to what I have.. Now after purchasing the others and blowing my secret stash I find out there are more knives that I (SHOULD ;), get..lol Nice pick up's fellas enjoy

Just an FYI

I use a Walmart Camo Prepaid Card that the wife don't know about add money as needed and no reason to explain anything.. ;)

Don't know. I don't ski and I've only been here a year. Funny thing, I moved from a small OR town right on the WA/OR border and my friend's parents live up in Spokane so I used to go up there a lot. I remember one night we were down at o'doherty's and someone dumped a bunch of soap in the fountain across the street and there was a whole mess of foam all over the sidewalk.

:) one of the few anatomical terms from 1st year anatomy i can still quote location/function word for word all these many years later.

that, plus i still call my best friend from vet school a Gubernaculum. all the time.
