Bought a Blue BFC S30V Skyline

As the title says, I'm pretty happy. I've been looking for one for awhile and finally found an auction for it on eBay.


(If anyone was curious, I ended up paying $141.50 for it.)
 
I now have the Blue and already had the black, now I'm going to try and finish the collection with orange, brown, red (If I can find one), and black with damascus.
 
I know from whom you bought it. He's a great guy. :D

Steel, I didn't know you were actively looking for one...there were a couple opportunities that I didn't pounce on because I didn't know someone was really looking... Crap. Sorry man.
 
Kjos don't forget regular production, blue stonewashed, there are three reds- 1760rd 1760rdsw and 1760rdso, first production run marked 1 of 500 on the blade, and the two fixed blade versions. I won't mention the ducks unlimited since they are impossible to find.
 
A shame that was a missed opportunity...I feel bad now. Steel, you need to be around more and speak up. :P

Brent...if we're talking impossible then that first production shouldn't be mentioned either. And frankly, I haven't seen the blue stonewashed version pop up either. After the sale, I think it only came up on the Bay once. Only 64 of those... *grin* Remember when I had two? I'm glad one of them went to a good place.
 
I am up to 9 out of 12 myself. Just missing 1760 RD, 1760 RDSO, and the Ducks Unlimited one. (If anyone has one I'll buy them)
 
congrats I want a blue skyline too I saw one on the exchange but being in Canada made me loose it to another member in the US :( I will have one eventually. I have a black on black right now with an orange on the way. Gotta collect em all!! hehehe

I honestly had no idea there were so many. I'm still fairly new to knife collecting and the forum. (but now I'm hooked and can't stop buying). I'm just trying to get one of each handle color for now.

:) no probs, it happens it wasn't the first I missed out on and wont be the last. its definitely a downside to being north of the border international shipping can be a pain for both ends of the deal I don't blame him for goin with the easier option :D

If it makes you feel a little better it was my birthday skyline ser# 0422 :)
 
I now have 6 of the skyline models and have been stuck at 6 for sometime.....im not getting fixed blades dont like to carry a fixed blade at all
 
I just have one Skyline, an 1760RDSW. Happened to be on the forum when BladeHQ announced they had them, but missed the blue ones (which went very quickly). I feel fortunate to have gotten it.
