Bought a Buck MiniBuck Lockblade

Just bought it yesterday, Model 425. Saw one in a display case at the local mall, figured the price (less than $20) was reasonable, and scraped the cash out of my wallet. It's a nice little knife, and clicks crisply into place. My wife commented on how lightweight it is. It now resides in my right front pocket, attached to a couple of Photon II MicroLights. It may replace the Victorinox Classic currently on my keyring.

Hi Cardimon,
Glad you like the Buck. All of their products are excellent.
I had to reply when I saw where you're from,Collegeville,Pa. Myself and a few of my powerlifting teamates lifted at a competition in a prison there(Graterford Maximum Security) maybe 3 or 4 years in a row a while back. But what we always remember about Collegeville is the awesome all you can eat restaurant that was in town. For about $13 you could eat for hours(we did) and it was top shelf stuff.
BTW-in talking to alot of the inmates, most of whom were doing life terms, I never did meet one person who was actually guilty

Got one for free with my new 110. Went over to XXXXs sporting goods(boy this censor is touchy)to check out what they had. came home with the 110,the sheath, the MiniBuck, and a bottle of Nathans honing oil for $33 and some change. Not bad huh?

I have a Buck MiniBuck that I keep in my pocket survival kit. It's sharp enough, but I saw the similar sized Gerber knife recently and wished that I had gotten that instead. A much better fit and finish and a larger blade in the same sized package.

Why the devil would the name of a sporting goods store warrant censoring?

First, would you mind sharing the contents of your pocket survival kit? Just email me offline at cardimon720a@yahoo.com. I'm curious. Apologies for being nosy.

Second, what's the name of that Gerber? Is it the MicroLight LST?

Thanks.

Craig
