Picked this Case Mastodon commemorative up for next to nothing, kind of appealed to me in a garish sort of way. Came with it's original box, sheath and a stand that says Mastodon. Box dated 1999.
Trying to research it and can find next to nothing on it so I guess it makes it both rare and not much demand.
Any info is appreciated, kind of like it, well made.

Looks like a Case Mako. No idea why it has the Mastodon embellishments. Could be it's their Shark Tooth model. I'm not much up on the older Case hunting folders.

That's a very cool knife! I like the design a lot.

It's cool just from a "different than anything else" standpoint. Ebony & ivory?

I've seen them around. The inlay is supposed to be Masterdom. That's not exactly Mammoth Ivory but a bone inlay into a wood handle. It's a nice knife but no expensive nor rare.

Heres some info,

ITS AWESOME! I LOVE IT!

sorry that's all I got. (ill give you 10$ more than your next to nothing price for it.)

This is a reminder for everyone. I'm seeing too much of this in the forum and it needs to stop. Even if it's intended as a joke. You just happen to have the post that gets quoted.

Gary, my apologies Sir. It was a joke but point taken.

Thanks for everyone's input, it is the Mako pattern, just can't find a whole lot on this version. Thanks again.
