I picked up a Camillus CUDA EDC today in the 154Cm steel just felt right in my hand and was in the mood for a new knife, anyone have one of these? what do think of them...

Onlything Is a I wish the blade was polished instead of stonewashed but I'll fix that soon enough. The knife feels good in my hand and I love the blade shape and grind. Plus the framelock. Man you just got to like Mr. Ralphs designs.

Very cool knife, and I bought it from New Graham. The bandaid holder's a nice touch. :)

I too wish the blade were polished instead of being halfway between polished and stonewashed.

Took a while to sharpen up on the Sharpmaker (with a diamond stick thingie attached). But after that, now it's a crazy cutter with that cool recurve.

An excellent choice! It's been a real popular knife around here. It was even the "Official" Bladeforums Forum knife for 2001. That was the first time it was offered in 154CM, which is, as you know, now the standard blade steel.

It's also been offered in D2 by A.G. Russell and Talonite by Camillus.

I think when a knife is available in so many different configurations, it's a good bet that it has been a great seller.

Good luck with your new EDC.:)

I'll show you mine when it;s done being polished :)
Mine came nasty sharp, that 154cm seems to hold a good edge I haave several others in it. The band aids were mikes Idea wish I had thought of it though I wanted to do engraved Inova X5's but he wanted the baind aids oh well ;)

I've had mine for a few months now, using it as an around the house EDC. About the hardest things it's done is cut nylon rope. However there is quite a bit of blade play now, even with the pivot tightened. It seems that there is a slight dent in the stop pin. making the lockup less solid.

Has anyone else experienced this? I don't snap the blade open hard by the way. Given this knife's good rep on these forums I'm thinking I may have a lemon.

NGK-Webmaster, you did remove the thumbstud before polishing, right? I'm having trouble with finding a small enough allen wrench, though I should have access to some when I go back home for the holidays.

Mine came with an acceptable edge. I've never been completely satisfied with factory edges though, I think the knife becomes mine when I finally sharpen it. Knocking down the EDC's bevels a bit gave it that extra push into crazy-edgedom.

I really like the blade shape. Although it has a wide point (from edge to spine), the blade width is sufficiently thin that it can still be used for poking stuff.

I was really surprised at how nice this knife was, for the price. If I didn't know, I'd guess it costs around $100.

I am hoping Santa will bring me a talonite one.

I've been fondeling the 154cm version at the store, I really like the size. Small, but not too small.

The Bandaid holder was pretty sweet. I got it on my fridge since I tend to slice myself up for dinner by accident more than cut myself with my utilty knives.
