Today me and my friend were in the mall and saw a Gerber Skeleton E-Z-Out that we both realy liked, and bought them at $50.00 bucks each. I know it was a bit over priced, but i realy didnt feal like buying it online :). Well, I just want to know if any one on the forums has it and how they like it. It is a good knife for self defense, and utility work?

Thanks

an EZ-Out for five years. I had the '95 first production run, before the ATS-34 version came out. That knife was a heck of a lot stronger than it looked. Enjoy.

I've never seen a skeleton EZ-out, but I have one of the regular ATS-34 versions that I keep in my car. It's a smooth opening knife that I like having around. I'd probably choose something else for self-defense, but it works fine as a utility knife.
