Always been curious about Muela knives, been staring at them long enough, finally had to get one. Doubt if I'll use it in any real way, but pretty to look at. May have to pick up a few more models before I've had my fix. :)

$52.00.

Pretty sharp out of the box.

*Florentine model.
*7" blade.
*Pakka wood.
*The blade is made of 440 Molibedium Vanadium Steel with a Rockwell Hardness of 56 to 58

Lookin' good. The snap on the sheath in the last pic looks a bit rough though. But the knife looks really nice.

Muela's are pretty decent knives for the money. I have a number of their bowies & tacticals

good to hear! :)

I'm really curious about their folding knives. hhmmmm....

I have a couple of their fixed blades (Jabalí with stag handles and a Montero) and one of their lockback folders called Navaja del Cazador. It's very nice.

The handle has a bit of a curve similar to the traditional Spanish navajas (but not as steep) and it's really comfortable in my hands. It has a clip point blade of around 3.5" that gets scary sharp very easily. It's a very solid knife.

They are tough. My fav. Muela is the Sabueso with the crown stag. It is such a comfy knife and we get that sucker clean shaving every time it comes in. Naturally it doesn't stay long.

This is my Muela. It's marked "Condor" and "Molibdeno Vanadio".
The 1.75" wide by 3/16" blade is just over 6 1/4" long.
It's sabre ground not hollow ground.
I'm looking for the slightly smaller drop point if anyone has one.

I have a Muela Alcaraz 22 Red Stag Bowie, 8 3/4" Blade(14" OAL). A very nice
fixed blade for the money. This one of course, is in my display case.
