Bought a new catfish rod

I bought myself a Okuma Coronado 80a spinning reel and a 11ft eagle claw water eagle rod . Bass pro put 260 yards of their house brand mono on it free (25lbs test)
The thing that I like about the reel is it has a bait runner feature . I plan on baiting it with the biggest bream I can find or a small carp

265lb, measuring 8.5ft in length. One of those trick camera shots to make it look bigger. Like hogzilla.

That is a fricking man eater. Love that picture. I guess my 4 lb test Stren mono would not do the trick. It would be one of those that just got away. Good luck with the new rig.
