Bought a new chef knife

Got this for well under retail, while most Myerchin knives are Chinese this one is advertised as being made in Japan with folded steel. I have not had the chance to use it yet, but the knife feels solid and not cheap at all. Not sure if it is full tang or not? The proof of course will be with the cutting.
