In the future lets keep the political commentary in the appropriate forum and out of our thread titles and threads in the general forums. Thank you.

Can we keep that guy out of threads too? He brings politics to anything he posts in.

so do a lot of conservatives, only they get a nod unless it's insanely blatant. plus he's angry, says so right in his name. just think how much angrier and liberalier he'll be when he gets banned.

Model would be helpful.

Never heard anyone announce that they bought a rifle without mentioning model and caliber before, especially since the OP handloads already. Quite strange.

Rockchucks, ground hogs, prairie dogs..surely not badgers?

Guessing Mod 77, Mark II ?

If so, have the same and shoot colony varmints with Hornady 60gr VMAX ..great in the in the wind.

.223? Just a guess with 55gr hand loads... Have fun with it...

3400 fps would really be pushing it for .223 with 55gr bullets, although he did say it had a 26" barrel. I might have guessed .22-250. Seems if you are going to go with a rifle that big this would be a more appropriate caliber.

I couldn't get over Ruger's sticky bolts. As many Ruger products that I own, I would of loved to add a bolt action, but chose Savage instead.

How is the bolt on your rifle?

I was thinking a WSSM....will have to wait and see what Riley says.....

Too many rounds to keep track of :) .22-250 is one of my favorites, although I shoot more .223 then anything else.
