Ron, hats off to you and SOG for making such a wonderful knife. The Recon Bowie has instantly become my favorite fixed blade. Besides feeling like an extension of your hand, this knife is also a work of art. I think the fit and finish rival customs costing much more. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks. I hope to enjoy this knife for years to come. Shane

It is a remarkable knife. It has graceful lines, with deliberate purpose; it is sleek. Enjoy it, use it wisely.;)

NOW you know EXACTLY how I feel about my SOG Trident!.:).

BTW...IF you ever grow tired of that nice Recon Bowie (fat chance, I know :D), I have a Camillus Cuda CQB-1 AND CQB-2 that I'd be willing to trade you for it.:).

Shane...you have one dang fine knife there and thanks for the nice comments. I never get over hearing comments like these! :D

Dann, you trying this again? I know it reaped you a great reward last time!

Ron,

One can NEVER have too many GOOD knives!.:D.:D.

Actually, and to be totally honest, and totally serious, I really have been thinking about posting this exact thing in the "Knives For Trade forum, even before I saw his "Recon Bowie" post!.:).

I'd post a teaser picture of my Recon, Bowie, and Scuba/Demo...
but my ISP doesn't like me at the moment... :(
