I don't know why I liked it right away, but I did! I found it on a heap of junk on a seller's table at the Dayton Ohio Goodman's gunshow today, where I went with my older son. 5 bucks, good shape, no nicks, no obvious resharpening, it called to me so I bought it (couldn't afford much else anyways 
) It needs cleaning and sharpening but so what?
They sell for between 40-50 dollars now.
It is the Japanese model - Google told me they're all Chinese now. The sheath is a remnant of the original diver's leg-rig that it came from the factory with. Any ideas on a cheap replacement sheath for this?
I think this might be a nice fixed-blade EDC for the poor, namely me!
