Bought my dad a BK2!! They have arrived!

My parents came to visit yesterday and will be in town for a few weeks. Dad was telling me about this Gerber knife his buddy was showing him. Said it was really thick blade, black, etc... I immediately said I have a knife to show you. So I went and grabbed my BK2 and he was blown away. He couldn't believe that it would hold up to pounding it through wood ( batoning). And when he realized it was a Ka-Bar he had to have one. Dad loves ka bar knives and was really impressed with the beckers I have.

So I got on to dales site ( the knife connection) and ordered a bk2 for dad and figured I would order a bk14 for myself. Haha.

I'll take some pics of dad's new blade when it gets here.

Man I love this site and Becker knives.

Awesome! Now all you need is a father & son trip out into the woods to put the new knives to work. Grats to your dad for on his first Becker.

He is excited to get it. I think I am more excited for him to get it than I was to get mine. Haha.

I will definitely be posting up some pics as soon as it arrives!!
 
Well dale came through again with fast delivery!! Ordered Saturday night, shipped out from Dale Monday afternoon and arrived around 1:30 today.

Dad was pretty excited to get his 2!!

I am loving this 14 !!

Here's a shot with both. I put a little quickie lanyard on dads so he could put it around his wrist when using.

Your father has fine tastes in blades. The BK2 is amazing. I'm digging your 14 wrap as well. What scales are you considering getting for it?

Thanks for the compliments. I am planning on picking up a set of the g10 scales from Dale at the-knife-connection. The custom ones he makes.

Exactly what I say to myself when I pull the 14 out of my back pocket every time I use it!!
 
That's awesome.
I gave my Dad a Peanut last year.
He calls my BK16 a "huge knife." I can only imagine what he'd think of The Beast.
