Decided to flip through the makers listing for grins one night and came across this little guy from B. Davis Knives. I had some interest in acquiring a Texas Jack pattern for a while and at the price this was being sold for, I couldn't resist. I received the knife yesterday upon returning to the office, and immediately it displaced the stockman I'd been travelling with. Some specifics about the knife, the scales are a dark cocobolo wood and capped with brass bolsters. The liners are brass as well. The knife measures 3'' closed. The blade steel used is ATS34. This model comes with the sweet little feature of the half stop.
It was billed as a user but don't let the fool or deter you can see the effort that went into this creation. The feel of the snap is truly impressive. A great knife for life here in the big city. I would certainly buy a second in this pattern and look forward to seeing what else Brian will bring to market. :thumbup:
