Bought my first GEC...

Hey guys...decided today would be the day to try GEC out. I bought a Tidioute Cutlery #68 with their leather sleeve. How'd I do? This is my first so I'm pretty excited. I'll definitely take pictures when it comes. :thumbup:

Well I have to tell you that you are on a very slippery slope my friend, I tried my first GEC last Dec and now I have 5 already. They are very good knives IMHO and I gave the #68 a hard look but I went with the #33 and couldn't be happier. I think you did very well with your first choice and I also think you will really enjoy it. Congrats!
 
It's far more practical than my first GEC (#23 Pioneer). Of course I solved that problem with 4 or 5 more of them.

I hear great things about this one and I look forward to trying one myself.

You picked my favorite option for scales too. :thumbup:
 
Love the 68! Easily it's the perfect size EDC for me right now. Picked one up 2 weeks ago and I already have 2 more on the way. Definitely take some pics when you get it. Enjoy!
 
You guys are just done for. Ask Trand or Eric, if you don't believe me. GECs are like a cancer . . . they just spread.

Pretty soon you'll have one in every drawer in the house, just so you won't ever be too far from one! :D
