Hey y'all, new to BF and just checkin' in.

After some thorough research and contemplation, I decided to go ahead and order a Para-military 2 from Howes. I was debating between a FFG Delica 4/Endura 4 (still may get one of those eventually), or maybe even a Sage 1 for EDC, but ended up just stepping it up a notch. I hope it's worth it!

Pretty excited about it, I haven't EDC'd a knife in a while. I've had a few CKRTs I've carried in the past, M16-10KZ, KISS, some assorted Gerbers and Kershaws (nothing fancy), but I decided to give a Spyderco a go this time around (never had one).

I also like the sprint run Para 2s, but I don't quite feel the need to shell out the extra cash for it at the moment. I hope this isn't a start to some sort of addiction...:foot:

Welcome and congrats you made a great choice!

It doesn't necessarily need to become an addiction. It will however become an appreciation. Congrats on a great choice.

I bought a PM2 without handling one before and I feel that it is definitely worth it. I can't imagine that you would want to carry a Delica or Endura after experiencing the PM2.

The PM2 is relatively big, if you aren't using to carrying a knife you might like the Sage better to start with, or even a Dragonfly, but everybody has their own feelings about size.

Para2 is one of those you have to own, I also have a Endura and Delica that I edc more, but that is my favorite.

Good to hear it. Yeah, I used to carry small to medium sized knives, so we'll see if this one ends up being too large.

Yeah I really liked the Delica. I'll probably pick one up down the line.

I ran into a snag with Howe. They don't ship to any address other than the billing address...guess I'll order somewhere else.

Bah, a shipping day wasted...:numbness:

Just got her this weekend...really impressed with National Knives, awesome vendor with awesome customer service. Haven't had a chance to play with the para 2 much over the weekend since I was out of town, but she sure is pretty!
