Bought my first Spyderco!

The Spyderco pen knife #146. This could be the most satisfying knive i've ever had. (albeit i don't own many but i'm comparing it to a Buck/Mayo TNT and a Benchmade #555 mini-griptillian. Also will test Buck's Bos treated S30V against Spyderco's S30V)

I love this knife! It is also the first knife i've had that was perfect. I can't find anything wrong with this knife. Every single part, every angle, everything is perfect. This is also my first G-10 and now i can't go back. This is my first round hole (spydie hole) and it is superior to the oblong hole of my BM and the rectanglar hole of the Buck.

I don't miss the lock at all, infact i perfer it not being there.(may feel differently if it closes on me, but from the feel of the spring i don't think i'll have a problem.)

I love this knife so much i think i'll be looking at more Spydercos. This is a great product!

*just read my post and want to let everyone know, " our wedding ceramony will be held at The Little White Chapel in Vegas on the 24th! ;)
 
Congratulations you are hooked on Spydies now too. One is never enough. :)

Thanx for the kind words. We're glad you are pleased with our efforts.

We will no doubt develop more "notch-joint" folders in the future. We have a 2.5" (blade) version "in the works".

i've only had this knife for 2 days but i will still hold to my orginial post.

*forgot to mention the thin feeling of this knife, love it!
*i'm also going to really like this wire clip. looks like it will give(flex) a little when i crouch down.(i sometimes work in the crawl spaces of homes)
*last thing, i will be very interested in any knife design you come up with in the 2.5 in. blade length. (i do service work and need to keep a low-profile on the "big scarry folders" i use in customer's homes)
