Got my first Strider tuesday! I bought a HT-TS from Triple Aught Design. This is my first real Strider as opposed to my Buck/Strider.
This is an awesome little knife! You really can't appreciate a Strider Knife until you have handled one for yourself. I had only seen them on the Forums and the web sight. Now I have the HT and one of the TKb's on order. Now all I need is a custom folder.
I stopped by their shop tuesday with my Dad on the way to San Francisco. Patrick and the guys at TAD are great. They are knowledgeable and definitely enthusiastic about the products they sell. Not only did they let me handle all the toys and answer all my questions,(I have spent the last six years in Germany and have not been able to see any of the knives for myself), they cut my Dad a great deal on a Buck Tool.
TAD is definitlely a grunt's toy store.
If you get the chance stop by and check out their store, just watch out for the attack dog behind the fence
