Hello!!!

I would like to share what happened to me just few weeks ago.

I was watching some videos in Youtube about knives (as usual:cool:) and again there was the Sebenza. After watching different videos and opinions about the Sebenza, I decided to buy one. Yes, only one. I wanted to try what is that so special about this knife.

24 hours later I've bought another one,

...and 48h later the third one!!!!!

I started with Large 21 Micarta, later was small 21 Carbon Fiber and finally the 25. I did sell the large 21 and keep two, the small one and the 25.

In this month, I experienced many good things about CRK. The knives are amazing, addictive and the last but not least, ANGELA I'ts an amazing person! I did contact with her with some questions and I did receive her reply in less than 24h! I did call her and she was very attentive and kind with me.

So, that's what happened to me, I know many people here have the same experience with CRK

Regards

Similar story here. Been wanting a Damascus small for a long time. Kept watching the videos. A small carbon fiber Dam came up and I purchased it. Then a small inlaid Dam. Had to have that too. Then a small 21 as a beater (EDC). Then a large 21 CF. All in the space of a month.
But I still don't have a raindrop Dam. And for some reason I "need" one.
Dam it.

If you want it, you'll have it for sure. Christmas in a nice excuse to get one :)

Beautiful acquisitions. I am sure someday you will buy the large 21 micarta again. You will miss it. :)

addictive, fun, always one on me, I fully understand, if I could I'd already have bought 30 maybe :D

GOOOOD start indeed, sir!

They are quite addictive, I don't need another CRK, but had to have a small 2010 annual to go with the large I have. This one puts me way over the legal limit of having CRK's in my possession. 1 is not enough and 30 is a lot.
Not a bad month for you at all!!!!

Thank you sir!

Yes, very addictive. And for the most important is that CRK are always there if you need something. For me this is a good reason to own not only one of their knives.

Nice crew you have there!

I should check this 21 Tanked more carefully. There is a shop in Moscow that have one. What I love about this knives is that you can buy it, have it for a few days and see how you feel, if you don't like it.. easy! Sell it or trade it for another Sebenza.

Never is enough, hehehe. You always will find a reason to add one more. When there is a legal (wife) limit, you can change the laws with a nice bag or shoes:D

Know what you mean, Bought these 2 inside a month, Thanks BF!

Nice knives Willy! As a well known admiral might say of buying your first CRK... "It's a trap!"

A year and a half ago, I would have scoffed at the idea of owning multiple CRK's... now I have 14.

I know it's futile advice, but attempt self-restraint, your wallet will thank you.

I understand your new addiction completely. Mine began with a small, plain Sebenza 21.

That was soon followed by an old pivot Umnumzaan, a Tamboti Mnandi and a Sikayo chef's knife.

The habit went into remission for a couple of years but it's back with a vengeance.

In the last couple of months I've bought a Sebenza 25, a Startac, and an Insingo Nyala. I've got a small Insingo micarta in my shopping cart that has been sitting there for an hour while I decide whether or not to pull the trigger. I know I will so I'm only kidding myself for a little while longer.

The are really good knives, and the service is amazing! So I don't want to say there are the best knives in the world, but all together... maybe yes! hehehe

Did you buy it?? :)

No... I bought a small 21 micarta with basket weave damascus instead. It's a beauty!

Waiting for photos when you get it :)

What knives can you buy that come the closest to the quality of a Chris Reeve for a fraction of the price?

I think there is not many options...

I dont think you can get anything like the sebenza.. something that could be a good alternative is the spyderco sage2. I like mine very much

You are right!

I bought a Bradley Alias I in anodized blue because I heard it was a "lower priced Sebenza". It was a nice knife, and worth the price I paid, but it was no Sebenza. I sold it, and bought a Sebenza 25. Just save your money. You get what you pay for typically.
