Was at a flea market in Hot Springs, Ark., and purchased a folding knife. handle 6", Blade 4'', saw blade 5". all black with 2 screws holding on black plastic handles. On Blade is stamped "G. R. Mich." above that is another stamp. Very faint, hard to read, last letter is "D" friend said he thinks it say UNITED. I cant tell.

Tag said "World War II US Navy Pilot's survival knife."

I tried to post picture but I kept getting message "Uploads not allowed." I am willing to post picture if someone will tell me how.

My question "is it really a WWII knife." any other info would also be appreciated.

Yes it’s real. Pretty neat knife. If you want to carry it on your belt. Beretta makes a leather magazine pouch that looks like a Buck 110 sheath that will fit it perfectly.
