Hello from Tulsa Oklahoma, new t the forum and had to share this new buy.
Had to get a loan on one of my VStroms but I had to jump on this one. All new in box, never used, been in a safe for over 20 years.
Originally contacted the owner for a SOG Seal 2k Seki and he casually mentions “I have one you have probably never seen”. I being a pretty big Seki SOG fan thought I highly doubt it but I want the Seki Seal anyway so I’ll come check the other one out too. All the way there I’m thinking Tiger Shark/Trident/Dessert Dagger maybe just maybe a Scuba/Demo…..always wanted one never seen one in person much less held it.
I get there and he has them all still in boxes on the table with a pair of gloves. He commences to show me the ones he’s looking to sell.
First up was the SoG Seal Seki BNIB
Beautiful mint condition in plastic and paper blade cover…sweet I wanted it right then. Never seen/held one Unused still in the packaging.
Second was a in the box, in the sheath Seki Sciba/Demo!!!! Beautiful mint condition except it was in the sheath with no paper on the sheath, didn’t bother me a bit but it has a little patina on the guard……not worried about at all, it will wipe off.
Next was another Seki Scuba Demo in plastic and paper on blade with the sheath. Beautiful mint condition with the paper catalog from 1999, stone in the leather sheath.
Last one he smiled when I started to open the box. Outside said RDB7-K Damascus Recon Bowie……hmmm never heard of a Damascus Bowie from SOG……In the original box, in the plastic, with original leather sheath, with original receipt……..

I tried my hardest not to let my jaw flop open. I had never seen this knife but I could tell this was (in my amateur appraisal) a legit knife.
I told him three no way I can afford these knives but thank you so much for letting me touch them!
He said I’ll make you a deal on all 4….
He gave me a price and I said I have to sleep on this sir but I’ll let you know in 24 hours. Immediately went home and didn’t sleep for the next 24 hours doing research.
Long story short part. No one is getting Christmas gifts this year and I now have a loan on one of my motorcycles but not bad for an internet search originally for a space heater and got distracted by a SOG Seal I was going to try and get a good deal on.
Guy threw in a Benchmade 9050 AFO auto first edition with the box and sheath in mint condition since I didn’t haggle him on the price and I think he knew I was in way over what I could afford. Not sure if I’m going to list one or two of them I’m just in SOG heaven right now and the sun shines on a dogs a$$ every now and then.
I’d love to hear anything you know about these knives or if you have any questions about them.
