What do you think?

:thumbup:Good Score!.....reminds me of a sharpfinger a little

The real question is what do YOU think. You bought it...
Well I don't know yet since I've never handled a Stretch before. However, I do like the esthetics. I have come to respect some of the regular posters opinions and I have high hopes for this knife.

Is that Graley's old one?

That's the one. He cut me a good deal on it.

Oh, I got my CF Native IV today and so I'm busy with that one. Not sure I like the smooth CF however. To honest, Spyderco G10 is as good a fella needs and you can't beat the grippy feel.

If you plan on using the knife strictly for slicing then I think it should be fine. I like the look better than the original but the blade gets pretty thin out towards the tip. Since the thicker part of the blade is now removed at the tip it is going to be pretty delicate.

If you use the knife as a knife then it should be a great EDC with great edge holding. I can get the ZDP blades sharper than any other except maybe the S90V using my paper wheels. I haven't learned how to use a strop so I can't get all the steels to that scary sharp edge yet.

I did the same thing to mine. The tip is the same thickness as the 8OT Schrade Old Timer large stockman that I've carried off and on for the last twenty years, at least for the first 3/16". After that, the Stretch is thicker and wider than the Schrade even after the hump is ground off.

Got the Stretch today from G2. Super nice job on the blade mod.
I see why all you folks like this pattern...outstanding ergos.
The Mini Manix just went in the box for a while. :)

I like it too. Might have to talk to Gary about getting one of mine done. :D

Gary spent a fair amount hand sanding the edges of the new clip point smooth. Actually they are fairly rolled over. First class job actually. I personally think this knife is better looking if possibly a little less sturdy but I have ZERO intention of using this Beauty as a prybar.

Thanks for all the comments.
