I haven't posted much here but thought I should start. Here's a Bouquet Folder I recently finished. Blade length 3-1/8", overall 7". My feathered leaf Damascus, ironwood scales, wrought iron backbar and wraps.
Thanks for looking!

That came out great, Jon, the damascus looks terrific. You will have one happy customer! Thanks for sharing. Do you have a pic of it closed, to show the flipper tab?

Awesome Jon. I like this new mix of materials. Glad you posted it!

Very nice Jon. That is such a great Damascus pattern. I like it. Wish I could see it close up and feel how it works.

Beautiful, innovative damascus, but I don't think the pictures convey it or the knife overall as well as they deserve.

Thanks Bob. I just recently got a light diffusing tent and have been playing around with it. Still have to improve the lighting. What specifically do you think needs work? I want to improve my pics so any advice is good. I'm using my iPhone (don't have a decent camera).

Thanks Devin, that means a lot coming from you!

That's a good looking knife and the steel really is exceptional.

I like the term 'bouquet' as it is evident in the pattern, and the handle is a luxurious 'vase'. :)

Only because you asked: Photos are good and clear. Better than 'average' with a cell phone. However, I find a fully enclosed light tent or cube loses texture and it all looks a bit hazy. Clear, but flat.

Open up the sides and let some light bleed off, and draw the lights back instead of forward of the blade (see first photo of highlight on the front of the blade).

After the first 1000 knife photos it starts to make sense..... ;)

I love that you are doing it ALL!

Good thread.

Thanks Jim. I really enjoy making the bouquet knives, it's a great canvas!
Thanks for the tips, I'll try it out today!
