Dammit dammit dammit dammit dammit dammit dammit!

Anthony Bourdain was found dead in his hotel. Apparent suicide by hanging. I had met Bourdain in NYC many years ago and actually pitched him an idea about coming to a deployed unit for NO RESERVATIONS.
 
I was very sad to see this in the news this morning. I really respected him and enjoyed his shows. He always seemed to struggle to find peace, but I never would have thought this would happen. He had so much going on. :(

RIP.

Most of the time, celebrity deaths don't surprise me, but this came as a shock to me. Deepest condolences to his loved ones.

Huge shock and so sad about it. Favorite foodie and over all entertainment. I almost cant believe he did this.
 
The most plausible explanation would be a terminal illness. Either way, a great loss.
 
i never watch TV and i hate TV "personalities", except Bourdain. He was real. I was watching some lame news show about somewhere and then i saw Bourdain in the same place having dinner with some locals and he asked smarter questions and got betterb answers than the news dimwits.
He must have been ill. Big loss. Agree with navman
