Bow Drill Friction Fire: modified socket (bearing block)

In order to improve my efficiency on the Bow Drill Friction Fire technique, I have made my own bearing block (or socket).

I have used a measurement spoon (the smallest one), than I have carved a place on my wooden catapult, and fixed the spoon with glue. The "Y" shape is ideal to grab the socket firmly.

The result is really good: now I have 100% positive results on Bow Drill Friction Fire (see video)

I've cut the bowl off of a steel 1/4 teaspoon measuring spoon and JB Welded it into a divot drilled into Mora Companion knife handle. That way a separate tool isn't needed for a bearing.
