Bowen Knives?

Hi guys. some of my most valued knives are my Remington Bullet R1306s. I've always thought of it as the perfect hunters knife. I've got one of the originals (damn, it was expensive), a couple of the reproductions, and two by T Bowen (one with, one without the bullet sheild). So whatever happened to him? I see on his website that he only sells belt buckle knives now. Doesn't seem to respond to emails. Knife maker burnout? And did he ever make traditional style fixed blades?

Bowen folding knives were actually made on contract by other firms - Queen and Boker are the two firms that I am aware of that made them.
