Beautiful and sculptural with nice proportion and flowing lines. Fit is superb. Very handsome piece.

This is a superb knife! The blonde stag looks really nice with the bronze fittings and the whole thing oozes flow!

Wieland,
That is one gorgeous knife all around. The Ben and i4Mark mentioned, "flow" is the word that keeps coming to my mind. I would be really interested to see how you go about making your guard and spacer. Thanks for sharing your work with us. Very inspiring!

It looks unmistakably like YOUR style Gerhard! Which is distinctive and has that "flow" that you impart to all your knives.

Peter

Wieland,

Your lines, carving, use of materials and textures all combine in a unique artistic fashion.

( not to mention some fantastic stag..)

A beautiful Bowie!

John

You have a wonderful eye for flowing lines and your craftsmanship and fit/finish is extraordinary....wish I was going to be at that show. :)

Another stunning knife.

I love your work on handles and guards, and that overall flow.

Gerhard.... Man, your work is so awesome!!!

You have such a beautiful, free flowing style... and it is immediately recognizable.

Thank you for sharing! :)

Wow. There are tons of top-end knifemakers that post here, and your work consistently stands out, Wieland. You did it again. :)

Did someone say flow? Well I'll say it........FLOW! Love everything I have seen of yours Gerhard and it just gets better.
Cheers Keith

Another impressive one. I love the way your sculptured guards and fittings flow so seamlessly into your handles.
It looks almost as though they have always been one piece. I don't care for the blond stag.:thumbup::thumbup:

that is one gorgeous piece of work, right there. My eye wants to see darker antler, but my brain really likes that caramel.
