This one is from all reclaimed materials except the handle but come to think of it most my knives are. The blade came from a Nash/Metro leaf spring and is 9 1/4", the guard is 1018 that was left over from a construction job I worked on a few years ago and the other fittings are wagon wheel wrought iron. The handle is African blackwood. Overall its 14 1/2"....

Thats one heck of a sticker Ray, For sure. Is the spacer and pommel area put together with spacers or are those grooves filed in? Nicely done again.

I realy like the the way you made the handle Ray, not to mention she looks meanern' hell!

Bill, the pommel and butt are both solid pieces with file work. Bruce, I'll have it with me in Eugene. 4 days and a wakeup. I'll be making sheaths the next few days and if I have time another knife...

This is one show I wish I wasn't going to miss... My son is moving to Eugene in a couple months, maybe next year I'll have a "legitimate" reason to come out!

Raymond that truly is one mean fighter. I like the angles in the guard - nice match to the faceted handle and fittings. Pointy! Pointy is a good thing for fighting knives. Thanks for sharing, it's always a pleasure to see this stuff.

I really like the 45's Ray, dont see many guards angular like that, Really fits the blade nicely.
