I got this one finished off and got some halfway decent pictures of it. I'm still messing with the light box. Even put another light in it this morning. Did seem to make more of a difference but I'm sick and tired of messing with it. I'll just go with what I have now. The knife has an 11" blade of W-1, three different types of wrought iron and a small elk crown handle. Its a handfull at 16 1/2".

Classic ! I love it. I am a newb to this , did you color that elk horn ? if so what did you use if I may ask.

I use leather dye to color the stag. Its kind of a mix and blend and wipe off sort of thing untill I get what I'm after.

IG, If you happen to run into some smaller diameter anchor chain let me know. I like having the natural texture of the chain but these big knives are a pain in the ass plus I had to stand on a bucket to get a picture of the whole knife.

RAY, how small O.D. It seams the smaller one that I have aren't WI, they are just like the other links that I have when you where here. I'll keep looking. ;)

IG, 3/4 up to 1" but any bigger will be the size I already have. Don't make a special trip but if you happen to see any that size that are WI please let me know.....

wow big I like it Ray... :D

I know what you mean
I stopped at the Natural living center and picked up a 24" full spectrum
florescent bulb $14.95
it's listed as Kenvins 6200 something or rather??,, the one that was recommended by Coop I think..
but it still seems dark but color is good?
I need to monkey with it more too. :(

Beautiful work Ray. I love the hammon and thats my kind of guard. I just love the subtle S guards. Thats a hell of a secondary edge too. I really like the design. Nice job.
