For those interested in such things, Stephen F has been leading design of a BF Collaboration Bowie. Along the way, it became more and more real.

Looks like it may become a collaboration project for 4 makers...and the 'main event' (I hope) for a charity auction.

And perhaps vote in the poll.

I would be much more interested to find out exactly What charities it would go toward. Too many charities I couldn't care less about, not to sound cruel or anything.

A good point!

We haven't decided yet -- and I hope folks from the Busse Sub-Forum will visit the link and help us decide.

Stephen has suggested the Breast Cancer Association ... but again, the charity has NOT been decided.

Thanks to Gravelface for bringing this up.

St. Judes has helped one friend of mine with Cancer.

The Ronald Mac Donald House (I know it sounds funny) Helped another friend of mine.

I am always partial to the "Wounded Warrior Fund" ..I am biased.....these folks helped me after I was injured.

I would be more then happy to contribute with what I can. There are many excellent organizations out there that would benefit greatly by some sort of donation or assistance. This is an excellent idea. My preference would be something for the prevention or cure towards Cancer.
As I am thankful for each day of having with the love of my life by my side, my wife. Which still remains an everyday battle that we face!

I'm in!

Gravelface: I absolutely support the Wounded Warrior Fund.

Heck, I'm an old warrior myself...a USAF lifer...from a family with more than a few soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines, and coasties.

I'm very fortunate that I carry no sharpnel. I hope yours is not too much of a burden.
