Bowie - giraffe bone

Hello
I want to show You made by me new knife . Bowie had to remind shape .
I made knife for my friend- PiterM .
Steel of blade this D2 ( 61 HRC ), thickness of blade 5mm, length of cutting edge this 124mm . Made Bolsters from steel 318 - riveted wire 0h13.
Handle from bone of giraffe ( then my first test of working of this material ) . Pins - tytanium , tube of stainless steel.

That's about as nice dyed giraffe bone as I have seen. Great looking knife. Once again I will say, you do fantastic work.
 
Great knife. If I may, you should not have the ricasso end so close to the bolster and have such a different flow - straight vs. curved. Either you should make the ricasso a bit longer to separate it visually, or you should carve it parallel to the bolster (or alternatively you can make the bolster straight too).

Of course, this is just my opinion.
