Bowie in W2 and Redwood Burl.

This knife started life as a Nick Wheeler forged blank, I did the clay coat, Had help with the HT by Delbert Ealy. The handle material is stabilized redwood from Mark at Burl Source. Pictures were taken by RyanW!
W2, clay coated for hamon
Overall length is 15 inches
Blade length is 9 inches
Handle length is 6 inches

What a beauty! The hamon and the burl look incredible together, and I really like the swells on the handle.

WOW ! very nice I remember you mentioning you asked some questions of nick on the hamon but I don't remember seeing the results till now and they are stunning! I also bought a blade that is in process we'll have to ressurect the thread someone started for all the blades and blanks bought from Nick.
Again very impressive work and tell your photographer good job too.

What's next?
I have a few profiled and a few in my head. Your kitchen knives are next up on the bench so....Kitchen knives it is:) I have a few more carved ones in the works also...I will post as soon as i get some progress :)

Which of course means....I will be needing some more wood Mark :P
