bowie knife gift

I bought a Winchester bowie knife about a year ago, before i knew alot about metals. It was actually a pretty nice knife. It was a big knife, a real western looking bowie with a nylon pouch with internal plastic guard for the blade.Anyway, I bought another bowie while i was in the Smokey Mtns. It was a Hen an Rooster Bowie with Stag handles and it was bigger than the Winchester bowie and it had an leather sheath. So a freind of mine was camping with me this weekend and all he had was a swiss army knife and it was kind of worn. He really liked my Hen and rooster bowie and so when we got back home i gave him that Winchester bowie. He was really excited when i gave it to him. He loved that knife alot more than i did. So i am proud he has it. To my surprise he gave me his Swiss Army knife and i checked the blade and it said Victorinox. So i know it is real. It looks like a Trekker but with no wood saw. The blades are wiggley but sharp as hell. I was wondering if there is a lifetime warranty on swiss army knives and i could send it to Victorinox and they can make the blades tighter and not have side to side play. Can anyone give me some info on if swiss army knives have a lifetime warranty on them or if there is some place to send them back for repairs? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Try calling the number and see if your knife is covered. I'm sure it is, Victorinox has a good reputation for customer service.
