bowie knife in Alamo?

Just curious, I just finished watching The Alamo with John Wayne and Richard Widmarm as Bowie.....was the bowie knife similar or the same prop from the Iron Mistress with Ladd? I know that the movie knives are Hollywood's version of Jim's knife, not like the original, even that is a never ending debate. I read a good article in Knifeworld about how the knife may have been more like the Perkins knife.

I believe the Iron Mistress version of the Bowie was used in two movies, and a TV series as well,,,including John Wayne's "Alamo".

The Iron Mistress was an exceptional knife, but in my opinion, the Musso Bowie, and especially, the Searles Bowie are the two main contenders for historical accuracy.
