Hi Stomper -

I would like one like the last picture (recurve blade bowie)

8" Recurve Blade Bowie with a maple burl handle.

I would like to get that one made later - I have a Kephart coming in Jan/Feb and a camp kit in late March, so late April would be good for me.

I would also like the satin finish on all of mine please.

I'll have quite a nice matched collection of JK burls.......

I promise to take pictures of them.

best regards-

mqqn

When you get time, no hurry, send me an email with those same details. I`m old and forgetfull, and need to keep emails on file for orders. I have files with the orders for each month, and an excell spreadsheet with details. It looks like I will be starting an April file.

This is turning out to be a fine selection...hard not to want one of each.

Will do!

I will be posting a pic of a ground out blank early next week (mine!) Material will be here Monday. I keep thinking the coffin handle ones might look good with 6 smaller pins similiar to my Hudson Bay model.

I agree...six pins on the coffin handle would be the ticket.

April sounds good, I am booked up through Feb now, Right?

That`s correct. Special "pocket knife" and Vic sheath this month, Camp Knife in January, and Michigan Trail Knife and #1 of the last run of Hikers Backups in February. If you want one in April, just send me the specs on which model and blade length you want.

I'm thinking of one with a walnut handle, 6 pins, coffin shape handle.

Extra wide beltloop to fit cowboy belts (3" wide belts going on , there).

Possibly a little less wide blade? Maybe 1 3/4 instead of 2"?

What do you guys think?

1 3/4" would not change the price as I still need to start with 2" stock. It`s not offered in 1 3/4".

I think a little less width would look good and lighten it up. I've requested a 7" blade, 1 3/4" wide, and 5/32" thick.
