Just finishing up a "Classic" Bowie with "Catchers".
I call this a "Primitive Classic Bowie".
It's 17" overall and weighs 30 oz.
The blade is 1095 spring steel 11. 7/8" X 1. 15/16" X 1/4" thick (3/8" at the "blade catchers").
The handle is 4. 3/4" long with scales of lightly darkened Curly Maple.
I'll try to get this listed in the exchange on Friday.

Mike....well love your work as simple as that!! Your mitts and arm look very similar to mine.......
